Becoming Together Tarot is an imaginative realism Tarot deck created by One to One Gallery, a contemporary art space in New Orleans, Louisiana dedicated to exploring the concepts of light, shadow, space, and time. The deck merges timeless mysticism with contemporary constructed imagery, transforming archetypal Tarot design into a living tableau that resonates with modern audiences. 

Each card is staged as a richly composed photographic style that blends the fantastical with the tangible. Drawing from New Orleans’ cultural DNA, the imagery employs playful textures, bold colors, and theatrical costuming to create a dreamlike “still life” aesthetic, while simultaneously featuring lifelike characters who embody the timeless archetypes of Tarot. The result is a deck that feels both ancient and modern, ceremonial and playful, rooted in ritual yet alive in the present.
