How will we gather?
Krewe do You
Attendance + The Experience
The experience will take place from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and will be held as a closed-door container to preserve the intimacy of the evening. Guests will be welcomed at the beginning of the program, but late entry will not be permitted. We also ask that attendees plan to remain for the full experience once the ritual begins.
Krewe Do You is our closing ritual, a night to express, connect, and reveal the untamed edges of ourselves. At its center is a talent salon where you may offer a song, a poem, a story, or simply a breath. There is no pressure. Witnessing is participation. Consider this an open invitation to become.
The Location
We conclude inside the historic St. Peter and Paul Church, a restored nineteenth century Catholic sanctuary glowing with candlelight and quiet magic. Its vaulted ceilings and historic details create a space where time stretches and every offering feels held.

Second Line
Attendance + The Experience
We will gather at 4:30pm to begin the celebration.
The second line is one of New Orleans’ purest expressions of joy. Led by brass and fueled by movement, it turns the street into a celebration of life itself. Together we wind through the Marigny, dancing, strolling, and dissolving into the shared rhythm of the city. A moment of connection, freedom, and collective heartbeat.
Participation in the second line is optional. However, the following event, Krewe Do You, will be a closed-door experience. Guests who do not join the second line should plan to arrive at the venue on time, as entry will take place at the beginning of the event.
The Location
We begin at the lively corner of Franklin Avenue and Royal Street, a beloved gathering point for Mardi Gras magic and neighborhood revelry. Colorful houses and leafy streets frame the perfect route for a parade that feels both timeless and full of possibility.

Food + Drink
Before we step off, you can grab food and drinks at Anna’s Bar, which offers an excellent cocktail menu, alongside Tropicalia Kitchen serving Brazilian street food. Please note that food and drinks at these locations are not covered by your hosts, and guests will pay for whatever they choose to order.

Comfortable with a touch of elevated sleepwear, preparing you for the evening to come. Refer to the Krewe du You event for more details on this evening’s attire.
Unholy Disco
Attendance + The Experience
After the Avant Garden, take a moment to refresh. Meet at Toulouse Theatre as we shift from daylight to shadow play. DJs and performers will set the tone from the moment you arrive. This night is about transformation, creature energy, and surrendering to the strange. It is our homage to the beauty and magic that live in New Orleans' dark and mystical side. Drift between the dance floor, the balcony, and the quiet pockets of the room. We will inhabit the theatre as our monster selves as we celebrate the night.
The Location
Toulouse Theatre is a historic French Quarter venue with roots stretching back to the early days of New Orleans entertainment. It once operated as a cinema in the 1970s, then evolved into a home for music, theatre, and offbeat experimentation. Legends like James Booker, The Neville Brothers, and countless cult performers have passed through its doors.

Transportation
Use Uber or Lyft to arrive and depart. Group travel keeps the energy flowing long after the disco fades.
Food + Beverage
If you are still hungry after the afternoon’s feast, we recommend eating before the Unholy Disco or enjoying one of the nearby restaurants and late-night spots. Toulouse Theatre is centrally located, so you can even slip out for a quick bite during the party, if you desire. A full cash-bar will be open throughout the night with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

Avant Garden
Attendance + The Experience
As with all Becoming Together programming, this event is invite only. Here a surrealist picnic spills across the historic Kingsway mansion, inviting you into pockets of wonder, soft corners, and unexpected encounters. Lounge, explore, dine, and get delightfully lost as the afternoon unfolds with music and dancing. The experience is built for curiosity, connection, and playful discovery.
The Location
Kingsway is a storied nineteenth century Italianate building in the French Quarter, once home to a long line of New Orleans characters and later a world-renowned recording studio. Artists like Bob Dylan and Iggy Pop made music here, drawn to the building’s unique pulse. Today, it is a lush and eclectic haven where creativity hums in every room. It is the perfect setting for our psychedelic afternoon.

Becoming Together - The Exhibition
Attendance
This is the one essential gathering of the weekend. While the private preview runs from 6 to 10pm, please be with us at Studio 633 (633 Carondelet) from 8:00 to 8:30pm as we collectively participate in a blessing to open the weekend.
Location + Transportation
Start your journey at 740 Carondelet to check in and greet your hosts. Then cross the street to 633 Carondelet and step into Studio 633, a soaring exhibition space where clean lines and open walls hold room for our first night of gathering and shared presence.
Both venues are about a 20-minute walk from Luna + Lyra and nearby Garden District hotels. Alternatively, ride-share is readily available, and we encourage calling cars and moving together whenever possible! If you are staying at The International House Hotel, these locations are an 11 minute walk / 6 minute drive. Street parking is available!
The Experience
Becoming Together opens with a private preview of a group exhibition, spread across two downtown venues, that brings together contemporary New Orleans artists working across painting and sculpture. Move at your own rhythm. Drift, pause, circle back, and let the room speak to you. Give yourself time to experience the work and to meet the people you will share the weekend with. All artwork is available for purchase, and our team can arrange shipping to any destination.
Food + Beverage
Patron Saint will be pouring wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic elixirs. Saint Pizza will be serving pizza (including gluten-free options) from 6–9pm at 633 Carondelet.
If you are still hungry afterwards or just looking for a change of scenery, then we recommend checking out Pluck Wine Bar + Restaurant or Herbsaint.
